For guests wanting to chill out a little, the lounge is a haven of charm and calm (not that you’ll ever see anyone flustered around the hotel). Cosily situated between the reception area and the bistro, it’s warm and tastefully decorated with large ceiling-to-floor glass windows.
There are comfy sofas and armchairs you can sink into, and even a quiet snug area to which you can escape and hide yourself away – perfect for sipping a coffee and perusing a newspaper or curling up with a good book.
The walls are adorned with work by local artists, most of whom are members of the Arran Art Trail movement representing artists on the island and manage the annual Open Studio event. Our ethos of at the hotel is to support local businesses where possible so if you see a particular piece of art that catches your eye either in the lounge area or elsewhere in the hotel we can sell it to you directly on our artists behalf.
