SEA VIEW EXECUTIVE

This room is one of our most popular rooms, as you’ll soon discover when you push open the door and take in the stunning views over Brodick Bay towards the castle and Goat Fell. Then look around you. There’s luxury here that will help make your stay a truly memorable one, including a super-king-sized bed with soft mattress topper and hypoallergenic linen, a lovely gleaming bathroom with generous-sized tub and shower, nature-scented Arran Aromatics toiletries, fluffy bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, and scrummy locally made biscuits.

We have two partially adapted rooms at The Douglas Hotel.  Both rooms are generously sized to accommodate wheelchair users and motorized scooters, but as you will note, each offers a different style of bathroom to suit our guests’ requirements:

Room 001 – Ground floor Executive room that can be made as double or twin. The room is situated to the rear of the Hotel with patio doors out to an enclosed garden/patio.  This room is partially adapted with an en-suite wet room/walk in shower. It also has a non-slip shower chair available, for extra peace of mind, if required.

Room 104 – First floor Executive Seaview double complete with adapted bathroom including sunken bath with shower over and additional fixed hand & safety rails.  The room boasts a spectacular sea-view as it is situated at the front of the Hotel.  It also has a non-slip safety step for extra peace of mind stepping in and out of the bath.

The Hotel has lift access to all floors and lovely wide corridors and doorways for ease of movement around the Hotel.  There is also accessible parking at the main hotel entrance.
